Today, I fell in love finally with Windows Vista systen, they make making movie so easy, even for someone like me. I hereby forgave every other defaults they have.
It is fall now, I have been thinking of New York in Oct. Call me sentimental, but I love this month in New York for many right reasons.
Before I got on the break to leave New York in April, I asked Hai, my beloved photographer friend(oceanmate.com), to be my personal photographer of the day. He followed me for about 4 hours in the city, and took shots of me and places of my chosen. I want to keep them with me while I travel far.
I stumbled upon them today again and decided to make a little movie out of a small portion of the photos, thanks to the quick pace and sequential shots he made--photo journalist style.
This is my first movie, if you will allow me. I think I am hooked already. The music selection is really Vista sample ones, but I love espeically the last song.
"Your data is uncorrupted", it cracks me up.
A noteable mention is that I have since lost 10 pounds and really tune up from swimming and travelling in the summer, so do view with that in mind. I am as vain as you ever remembered me.
I felt very heartache in the last several days, but this is my effort of smiling from those memories.
You betcha (I am thinking Tina Fey) I will make one based on my Cambodia trip as well.

Nice job. I like it. Sent you a sms to tell also (to your China number), not sure if you got it. Same here, not in good mood lately.
Thanks, Meawmeaw! Happy Birthday!
While making this little project, I have been listening to the Song for at least 30 times. I picked it from my laptop default music folder. It did not occur to me, until I began to hum something very like it, I realized this is sang by Matthew Sweet, some song writer that means much to me.
And the lyrics, when I listened to it closer, is touching my heart.
So life is quite interesting in what we encounter at certain times, as if by chance.
Here is the Lyrics for Love Comes:
Oh baby you're too pure
You're too pure for this wicked world
Your data's uncorrupted
But does something skip inside you?
That's what takes up time in this life
Add up the sum of the slights and
Sooner or later
Love comes inside you, gets behind you
Takes you under it's wing
Is it some kind of function?
A reconstruction of what you've always been?
Sense memory, that's so passe
Is that what passes for vision these days?
I engineer no strangeness
I don't have that modern streak
What fills up this space in your life?
Does the sum of the slights hurt?
Sooner or later
Love comes inside you, gets behind you
Takes you under it's wing
Is it some kind of function?
A reconstruction of what you've always been?
Time can't hurt you
I can't be bothered to get you alone in this world
You can do it youself, but make your ends known to your means and your lovers
Drop your guard, get over yourself
Kick your shoes to the floor and
Run from your cover, run to the other side of your head and I'll stand right by you
Love comes inside you, gets behind you
Takes you under it's wing
Is it some kind of function?
A reconstruction of what you've always been?
Love comes inside you, gets behind you
Takes you under it's wing
Is it some kind of function?
A reconstruction of what you've always been?
Time can't hurt you
I can't be bothered to get you alone in this world
V.
Don't know I can call the world wicked, or myself too pure, but I do like the ideal of the "reconstruction of what you have always been, or in my case, wanted to be".
Ok, my bad, I don't know why I am so eager to credit the song to Matthew Sweet (wishful thinking), seeing the name The Posie on the file folder as the artist. Their style are very similar, and I somehow think it is a collaboration. It is not.
Although The Posie has covered songs by Matthew Sweet before. But Love Comes is from their Album Every kind of Light, released in 2005.
Check this for more about both bands.
